IACC Leadership & Distinguished Service Award Nomination Form

PURPOSE

The IACC Leadership and Distinguished Service Award recognizes an IACC member individual who has given his or her time and energy to better the IACC and who has conducted his or her professional and personal life for the betterment of the commercial collection industry.

AWARD CRITERIA

• Rendered outstanding service on behalf and for the benefit of the IACC and its membership.

• By example of excellence through professional and personal conduct has elevated the image and stature of the commercial collection profession and the IACC among professional colleagues and the public.

• Made a substantial contribution to the improvement of the business activities of the members of the IACC and encouraged an honorable course of dealing among professional colleagues.

• Encourages leadership among others within the IACC; and mentors others, both within the IACC and within their world of business.

• Conducts personal, business and professional life in accordance with such high ethical, moral and civic responsibilities as to commend the recognition and respect of his or her community.

To nominate a fellow IACC member, please state who you are nominating and write a brief paragraph explaining why this person deserves to receive this award. Please think about the following items below and include what you can to the best of your knowledge. Then, your nomination will be presented to the IACC nominating committee for review. The nominating committee will make its recommendations to the IACC Board who will then make the final decision on the award winner.

Items about the nominee to keep in mind and possibly include in your nomination paragraph:

• Company, current position and years in industry – CLLA/IACC Certified Agency, Certified Collector

• IACC Board member, committee member

• Conferences or seminars for which they have spoken, IACC related and not

• Any published writing, they have done

• Awards they have received in the collection industry

• Service completed for the betterment of the collection industry
